My journey to success is a story of passion, perseverance, and resilience—qualities every entrepreneur can relate to. Over the years, I’ve navigated the highs and lows of business ownership, gaining invaluable insights that I now use to help others achieve financial freedom by leveraging their skills and talents to build thriving businesses.

How did my journey begin?

My entrepreneurial spirit was sparked at the age of 12 when I gave my very first haircut. By high school, I was the go-to barber for my peers, and my love for the craft only grew. I also got my first taste of the beauty industry as a shampoo assistant for my sister, who was building her own cosmetology business.

This passion followed me to college, where I pursued a degree in business finance while simultaneously becoming the campus barber. Balancing studies and entrepreneurship taught me the value of hard work and the fundamentals of running a business.

After earning my degree, I spent six years in corporate America, working in financial and budgeting roles at a bank and later at the State Department. But my entrepreneurial drive never waned. In 2005, I took a leap of faith, left corporate America, and opened a full-service salon and spa.

That venture, however, brought challenges I didn’t anticipate. Managing the financial pressures of a new business was a learning curve, and after five years of hardship, I made the difficult decision to close the salon. It felt like a setback, but it became one of my greatest lessons. I refocused, honed my skills, and dove headfirst into building a career centered on barbering and business growth.

Today, my journey is proof that resilience, strategic planning, and a commitment to personal growth can turn any setback into a setup for success. Now, I use my decades of experience to guide business owners and entrepreneurs toward financial independence and long-term success.

When the journey began to pay-off

Determined to turn things around, I created my own personal brand and spent the next four years overcoming the financial challenges I had faced during my first business venture. Through relentless determination and strategic planning, I transformed my setbacks into a platform for success.
